		<description>hi very interesting article, just would like to add that having done some historical research into our &quot;poor house&quot; i found a diet sheet for the inmates dated 1847. they were being served &quot;lobscouse&quot; and it was therefore later cut to our local name of &quot;lobby&quot; probably some time after this date. just thought it a very interesting find that gives a firm date to its history in stoke on trent........</description>

I only recently remembered that I used to have this as a child and checked with my mum to make sure I hadn&#039;t imagined it as it&#039;s a pretty unlikely pudding, but delicious!</description>
