Food tastes at it's best when it is in season. Once you
harvest your ingredients, they start to lose flavour and
texture, which is effectively the taste.
Many products are available all year round, but they have been
stored or have travelled many miles, which as above, has
an effect on the taste.
Some of our favourite dishes will appear for part of the year,
but we know that when they are on the menu, the taste will be
great.
The look, feel and smell of fresh seasonal produce is a
joy and combined with our local sourcing, we have excellent,
fresh ingredients making up our menu.

Many of the hardier fruits and vegetables come into their own
as the weather gets colder. For the same reason, the abundance
of sea food such as musseles, oysters and lobster starts to show.
The game season is very much on and there are some brilliant
catches at market.
